Logistic Manager

 Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage logistics operations; including purchasing, warehousing, inbound / outbound logistics, production planning and inventory management to ensure smooth and  timely departments’ deliverables
  
• To be the operations lead for all logistics related, improvement initiatives, price reviews, contract revisions and all other contractual / customer / vendor communications
  
• Negotiation & finalization of contracts with service provider and cost reduction
  
• Source, assess and qualify suitability of suppliers by reviewing potential buying opportunities
  
• Responsible for logistics related management reports and actively participate in review meetings
  
• Ensure fully compliances of logistics related policies and implement continuous improvement
  
• Liaise closely with internal / external parties for Quality System related audit
  
• Responsible for outstanding audit items timely closure

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Purchasing, Business Administration or equivalent
  
• Min 5 years experiences in manufacturing industry, with in-depth knowledge in Logistics Management
  
• Good exposure of various audit system, internal auditor certified will be an added advantage
  
• Knowledge in Six Sigma methodology preferred
  
• Dynamic, good leadership with strong integrity
  
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  
• Good working knowledge of SAP and MS applications
  
• Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates
