Test Technician (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering)

Duties & Responsibilities:

> To perform pump dis-assembly, assembly and quality checking of the pumps /drivers related parts.

> To perform split case pump testing (in accordance to ISO 9906 Grade II) which include end suction fire pumps as well as diesel engine driven pumpsets.

> To learn and apply the correct operation of machineries such as lathe, balancing machines, welding machines, overhead cranes, forklift, testing controller for test bay, etc.

> To perform final quality checks / tests such as the hydrostatic pump testing and pump performance testing.

> To set up the pumpset piping for testing including electrical wiring connection for the electric motors and diesel engines as well as test calculation.

> To job rotate where necessary so as to know the complete work procedures.

> To do spraying painting of the pumps / pumpsets as per set requirements. 

> To assemble fire pumpsets and Paco pumps when they are in place.

Requirement :

> NITEC certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

> Must be able to work after office hours and weekends when required.
