Reponsibilities
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance on DCS, SCADA, PLCs, robotic palletizers, label applicators, and associated equipment.
  • Conduct daily health checks and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues with the aforementioned equipment.
  • Collaborate with instrument and electrical specialists, and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex automation system problems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and implement preventative maintenance procedures as per established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
  • Support the Automation Engineer with tasks related to ABB DCS, Schneider SCADA, and Siemens SCADA systems, including daily health checks, backup, and other basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working within the plant environment.

Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Working experience in an industrial automation environment (preferred).
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing ABB robots, and inline label applicators (a plus).
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
