Reponsibilities
  • Month-end closing activities and ensure on-time management reporting
  • Responsible for statutory audit, both interim and final, including XBRL filing
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Group reporting requirements
  • Co-ordinates with Accounting Services team based in India to secure timely and accurate close of month-end activities
  • Support Chief Accountant in all SAP Master Finance hierarchy and reporting issues
  • Payment verification
  • Balance sheet review
  • Maintenance of customer master data
  • Monthly payroll interface as well as bonus reconciliation and clear-down
  • Prepayment journal postings and GL schedules preparation
  • Fixed assets capitalisation review and leased assets reconciliation
  • Provide information on employee exit clearance
  • Submission of government statistical survey/data
  • Attend to queries from TD/BAs, Group Accounting, auditor or tax agent
  • Any other ad hoc tasks or projects assigned

Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent, preferably with audit experience
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in similar capacity in the commercial or audit firm industry
  • Competence with FRS standards and annual new developments
  • Experience in SAP accounting is advantageous
