Reponsibilities
  • Responsible for day-to-day running of the finance department.
  • To support the financial accounting team in monthly closing.
  • To develop and update accounting policies to comply with statutory regulations to ensure that the accounting records are kept in line with accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Oversee the monthly closing of accounts for the HQ Company, subsidiaries and various related entities and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial and management reports
  • Preparing consolidated financial statements and its analysis, including liaison with entities on monthly reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Review Tax returns and ensure compliance on all tax related matters including Corporate Tax, GST and withholding taxes.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, corporate secretaries, and relevant government authorities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, policies, and internal control.
  • Handle management reports, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting (including accruals), and cash flow projection

Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience with few years in the manufacturing industry
  • Preferably with experience in the food manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite preferred.
  •  Ability to multi-task and work in an exciting fast-paced environment
